I've just finished watching the final two segments of the Luminous Landscape Lightroom Tutorial, which was included along with my purchase of the LL Video Journal #15.
In the tutorial, Michael Reichmann is accompanied by Jeff Schewe - a photographer who has been key in the development process of the Lightroom application and various other Adobe products. They go back and forth discussing each or Lightroom's modules - Library, Develop, Print, Slideshow, and Web both showing you how to use the tools and providing some insight into how they use the application in their own workflows. The entire video is about 4.5 hours long and is divided into several separate files for each download and digestion.
The "image database" paradigm that Lightroom operates on is significantly different than how most "browse-based" photo applications (such as Adobe Bridge) work. It took me a little while to get the hang of it, but after using it for a few months and watching Michael & Jeff's tutorial I feel comfortable in Lightroom. In fact, I rather like the way the application works, even if the 1.0 release has a few quirks.
I'd highly recommend picking up this video tutorial if you are considering Lightroom for your digital workflow (which you should!). Even folks who have been using the beta version for a while will pick up a useful trick or two along the way.
