Our new client version 1.8.6.21 is packed with additional features to help you manage your data backups and restores:I mention these guys for good reason - they secure a ton of my personal data! I highly recommend that everyone spend a couple of buck a month on a service like this... you never know when you'll need a backup - the day you need it is a day too late! Here's what will happen: The first time you run a backup on your computer following Saturday's system upgrade, your client will automatically upgrade to the latest MozyHome client version. You will need to reboot your computer for MozyHome backups to resume.
- A new in-client restore button requires less user intervention and gives you real-time access to your data backups.
- A support button provides direct access to MozyHome's frequently asked questions.
- Your connections will be more robust, and the reliability and stability of your backups will increase.
For $5 a month you can store as much data as you'd like and the software handles it all for you automatically - no burning CDs (or more correctly - forgetting to burn CDs). There's no excuse
to not have a backup anymore.

Ryan, I agree entirely about Mozy. I tried all sorts of combinations of local backup hardware and software before trying Mozy. It took me a week to decide to upgrade from the free account to the pro account and I've not regretted it for a minute.
yeah... i use the mozy too... but on the mac. i don't think the client is quite as interactive on the mac... but it works just fine.
Glad you're having luck with it. I'm paying for 2 computers, and found that..
1)They rate limit uploads. This is not mentioned anywhere in the documentation.
2)The auto-update client fails to update itself.
3)The client will fail to upload anything but still tell you that the backup was successful.
So far, tech support has been unable to resolve any of these issues. I've been dealing with them for a week now. I'm becoming quite dissatisfied with Mozy and will probably dump it very shortly.
